(TEST) I've been working as a freelance designer for just over 3 years, and have gained valuable skills while taking on lots of new and exciting projects.

(TEST) In my spare time, I have a sideline company; 'Beetroot Press', where I use my Silk-screen printing expertise to design and make a range of eco-friendly home and gifts. I also have an allotment, love the go for long walks and to sew.

Experience includes;

designing from own drawings and sketches.
Working up designs from vintage swatches into usable files for manufacturing and different colour combinations.
Using Adobe Illustrator to create designs fit for suppliers and manufacturing. Use of Photoshop for inkjet designs and creating textures.
Knowledge of key repeat scales and formatting.
Working to Pantone colour codes and able to pick Pantones from the basic colour range Solid coated.
Creating mood boards and compiling trend research.

I've worked for a number of companies, such as The Little White Company, MADE.com, BHS and Debenhams. I also work for a studio part time through where I've sold designs to Paperchase, M&S, among other european and American companies.
